Relay market expected to break USD$4.5 billion globally in 2017

After ushering an unprecedented growth, some companies starts to face a shrink up to 15%. There will remain a 6% ~ 8 % of growth in Asia Pacific Region. Till 2017, the relay in global market will exceed USD$4.5 billion.
After two years of double-digit growth, in the global market last year, the electromechanical and solid state relays dropped USD$125 million (3.6%) down to USD$3.35 billion .
Since the year of 2009, this is the second decline for sale volume, the market has plunged more than 25 %. In contrast, the decline in 2012 was smaller with shorter duration. IHS expects that the relay market will grow 5.2% up to reach USD$3.54 billion.
The largest decline was in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) market last year, their revenues fell 6.2%. America was fell 2.9%. The largest reversal occurred in the Asia-Pacific region; the amount of income increased more than 24 % in 2011, but declined 2% again in 2012.
The Asian manufacturers of relays has an over 40% of domestic sales growth which is much higher than recent years. However, through a quench in the market, especially there has been a decline of demand in China, so some companies starts to face a shrink up to 15% after ushering an unprecedented growth
The shrink will not be last too long in relay market. After the market recovered in 2013, the EMEA and America will keep 2% ~ 3 % of growth, the Asia-Pacific region will remain 6% ~ 8 %. Therefore, till 2017, the relay in global market will exceed USD$4.5 billion.
